In March of 2026, Keauhou Canoe Club held their 3rd Annual Paddle Against Cancer. 

This members only benefit event started with a ceremony for those fighting cancer, in remission, and for those who support the fight. The event allows us to recognize and give tribute to those who are/have faced cancer and includes a fun paddle, tasty breakfast and silent auction to benefit the American Cancer Society.

The event includes a race, breakfast, and a silent auction.

We are always thrilled with the support of our club and local community.  In 2025, we were able to give give more than $7,000 to the American Cancer Society here on Hawai'i Island., and in 2026, we gave $13,000.

ACS here on Hawaii uses those funds to support people from Hawai'i Island who have to travel to the mainland for treatment.
