Welcome to the new Keauhou Canoe Club website

Welcome to the newest version of the Keauhou Canoe Club (KCC) website at keauhoucanoeclub.com. This article will help learn about some of the basic functions of the website, such as how to sign-in to your member account, how to validate and update your information in our database, how to pay annual dues, insurance waiver, and how to register for a paddling session.  Note that every page of the site has instructions, so please read them before you take action.  If you have any technical trouble with these tasks, you can email Support@KeauhouCanoeClub.com for assistance.  We will also be offering some webinars to demonstrate common functions of the website. 

 

The following instructions will work on a computer, smart phone, or tablet.  But for your first-time exploration we highly recommend a computer.  There are different appearances on a phone and tablet and the page layout and menus are slightly different.

 

How do I sign-in as a member to the new website?

·      If you are a current member of the club and have never sign-in before, you will need to get a temporary password.

1.    Go to the site’s home page at keauhoucanoeclub.com

2.    Click on the MEMBER LOGIN menu item.

3.    Click on Forgot Password at the bottom of the sign-in box

4.    Enter the email address that is on file in our member database.

5.    Click on Password Reset

6.    A temporary password will be sent to your email.  This may take a few minutes.

7.    Once you have the temporary password, go back to the website and click on Member Login and enter your email and password.

8.    You will be taken to your Member’s Center.

·      If you are a current member of the club and have a password:

1.    Go to the site’s home page at keauhoucanoeclub.com

2.    Click on the MEMBER LOGIN menu item.

3.    Enter your email and password.

4.    You will be taken to your Member’s Center.

5.    Review this page for your current status.

·      If you are not a member of the club and want to join.

1.    Go to the site’s home page at keauhoucanoeclub.com

2.    Click on the MEMBERSHIP menu item and select NEW MEMBER REGISTRATION.

3.    Read the instructions and fill out the new member form.

 

How do I register for a paddling session on the new website?

1.    Go to the site’s home page at keauhoucanoeclub.com

2.    Click on the MEMBER LOGIN menu item.

3.    Enter your email and password.

4.    You will be taken to your Member’s Center.

5.    You can either choose BOOK/CANCEL A PADDLE under the MEMBER’S CENTER menu at the top or you can click on UPCOMING PADDLE SESSIONS from the items on the left side of the page.  Both actions will take you to the booking page.

6.    On the booking page you will see a list of upcoming paddling sessions. Sessions that are closed will be semi-transparent and noted as closed.  There is an  i  with a black circle around it on the left side of each session block.  Mousing over that will reveal the Beach coordinator’s name and contact information.

7.    On the right side of each session is a button that can be toggled between Yes! and No.  Click on the red No button to change it to a green Yes! to add you name to that session.  If you wish to cancel a reservation, click on the green Yes! button to change it to a red No and your name will be removed from that session.  After each action you will see a dialog box that requires you to confirm your choice.

8.    Also note that on your Member’s Center page there, is a CURRENT MEMBER STATUS box that displays the number of upcoming paddling sessions you are registered for.  Clicking that text will also take you to the booking page.

 

How do I review/change my member information including my password?

1.    Go to the site’s home page at keauhoucanoeclub.com

2.    Click on the MEMBER LOGIN menu item.

3.    Enter your email and password.

4.    You will be taken to your Member’s Center.

5.    You can either choose YOUR MEMBERSHIP > UPDATE YOUR INFO under the MEMBER’S CENTER menu at the top or you can click on YOUR INFORMATION from the items on the left side of the page.  Both actions will take you to the update your information page.

6.    Review the information on this page and make changes as necessary to ensure that the club has your information correct.  Note that fields with red * to the left are required, but the site will accept any input.  For example, you can type in “no home phone” in the home phone field.

7.    Under email, home phone, and cell phone there is an option to hide that information.  If you choose No, other members will not be able to lookup that information from the MEMBERS LIST search page.  Note that administrators and beach coordinators will still be able to access that information.

8.    If you wish to change your password, enter a new 8 to 12 character password in the top box.

9.    You must click on the UPDATE MY INFORMATION at the bottom of the page to save changes.

 

How do I make a payment?

1.    Go to the site’s home page at keauhoucanoeclub.com

2.    Click on the MEMBER LOGIN menu item.

3.    Enter your email and password.

4.    You will be taken to your Member’s Center.

5.    You can either choose MAKE A PAYMENT under the MEMBER’S CENTER menu at the top or you can click on MAKE A PAYMENT from the items on the left side of the page.  Both actions will take you to the update payments page.

6.    You can choose to make a payment for your or others membership dues, donating to a specific fund, and/or other types of payments such as a canoe rack.

7.    If you are making a membership payment select either a single adult or two adults. If you are paying for two adults then choose the second adult from the And/Or Make a Membership Payment for Other(s) dialog box below.

8.    If you want to pay for a canoe rack (you must already have been assigned a rack), under OTHER PAYMENT choose Canoe Rack Fee.  The system will auto fill $100 if you are also paying for a second adult member, change the amount to $200.  Enter a note below the amount to indicate who is being paid for and what racks are being paid for.

9.    If you want to donate, choose one fund and enter an amount.  If you want to donate to multiple funds you can either go to the ABOUT KEAUHOU > DONATIONS page which allows multiple funds or you can return to the payments page again and enter another transaction.

10. As you make your selections and enter your amounts, you will see a list of items that are being charge with amounts in the PAYMENT DETAILS below.

11. Once you have selected all items to pay and reviewed the payment details finalize the transaction by entering a credit or debit card in the ENTER CREDIT INFORMATION box to the left.

12. Finalize the payment by clicking the CONFIRM SECURE PAYMENT button at the bottom of the page and confirm this choice.

13. You will receive an email receipt.

 

How do I sign my Paddlesports insurance waiver?

1.    Go to the site’s home page at keauhoucanoeclub.com

2.    Click on the MEMBER LOGIN menu item.

3.    Enter your email and password.

4.    You will be taken to your Member’s Center.

5.    Click on the COMPLETE YOUR PADDLESPORTS WAIVER link from the items on the left side of the page.  This will take you out of the KCC website to the Paddlesports website.

6.    Fill out and submit the waiver form on the Paddlesports website.  Once it is submitted you will receive an email confirmation.  However, your waiver status will not change on your member’s center page until an administrator confirms the submission, which might take a day or so. 

7.    Please do not upload a Paddlesports waiver form using the upload feature, we want everyone to use the form link on the documents page.

 

How do I renew my annual membership?

To renew your membership, follow three steps:

1.    Review and update your information (see above: How do I review/change my member information including my password?)

2.    Pay for your dues (see above: How do I make a payment?)

3.    Fill out and sign current Paddlesports waiver (see above: How do I sign my Paddlesports insurance waiver?)

 

Your CURRENT MEMBER STATUS box on your membership page will let you know if this process has been completed.
